Simple Electric Motor in our Science Class

This is a simple electric motor that i built in our science class. . It is one of the simplest electric motors you can build. A few turns of magnet wire, a permanent magnet taken from a dead hard drive, two paper clips, a battery and a few sheet rock screws is all it takes.

Some people call this a beakman motor after a science show that showed how to build it.

The type of motor this is called is a pulse motor, as it pulses on and off and the electro magnet is not constantly driven.

Its nice to try building this motor..... Try now...
ask me if it doesn't work....
